Dave Attell began his career in comedy in the late 1980s and early 1990s performing in New York City clubs. He gained national recognition in the late 1990s when he became a regular performer on the comedy series "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Attell also hosted his own show on Comedy Central called "Insomniac with Dave Attell," which featured him traveling to different cities and showcasing the nightlife scene.


Attell has released several stand-up specials, including "Skanks for the Memories" and "Road Work," and has also acted in movies and television shows such as "Trainwreck," "Pootie Tang," and "Everybody Loves Raymond." He has won several awards for his work, including the prestigious Johnny Carson Comedy Award.
